Yes, a drop on the braid helped. The wick works very well especially the stuff that is pretreated with flux. If you don’t already do it, put flux on unrested wick before desoldering works a treat.
I wouldn't use the drop and go parking, even if they parked it a few metres away. I bet you've seen reports of vehicles doing 2000 miles then left in a field 10 miles away. Manchester is always pretty easy to get parked, and I often take the Navara to the top floor of the multi story car park, there's normally loads of room there as most people try to squeeze their car into the first hole that looks like it will accept a Fiat 500 on floor 3. On the top floor on Terminal 1 there are some sneaky wider slots too with the way the lines are drawn, dead centre of the park.Driven it back from Madchester airport - started first time after sitting for nearly 12 days - it was bound to as (a) it lives on a battery conditioner at home when I don’t use it and (b) I had put my jump pack in behind the drivers seat JIC
I see the “Drop and Go” parking peeps drove it 1.4 miles around their parking area…
Missed the bucket a bit . Rear diff oil change . 31000 miles , you can see it's manky. View attachment 85758
Depends who you buy parking from. I used “valet parking” at Gatwick last year for the first time. Very efficient handover and car waiting when I got back. Gatwick guarantee on-site parking and I could see from my Mercedes Me app it was within the airport perimeter. I set up the geofencing on Mercedes Me and got a notification when the car was started and moved back the day before I was due to return. I would certainly use that again.I wouldn't use the drop and go parking, even if they parked it a few metres away. Liverpool is even easier to get a slot.
Driven to Solstice Park near Stonehenge, ready for the trip down to Beaulieu in the morning
Lightweight!Do you know that you can not push the stones over..............I tried that in the late '70's
Today I finally removed the rear bumper off the 55 with the help from my neighbour, it is definaulty a 2 man job

Do you mind sharing what that cost please? I've had a quote for £600 ishEngine and transmission mounts replaced by local Specialist today.
