Can't say this is a mod that will make the car look good, given the look of new shape Audi's, Porsches and the new 212 that sports these things.
Perhaps Helen would be good enough to put up pics to persuade us otherwise. The 230 is an elegant shape and should be left as so, IMHO.
Just hope there nowhere near the lifting points of the car, other wise when we sort out Helens leg problem, they will be no-more!!
But I haven't touched the shape of the car, I've just put blue LEDs underneath.
That's where they welded the mounting points on.
Like to see that, the lifting points are hard plastic Helen, some welder!!

It would have been just as effective if you had fitted illuminated sills and cut holes in the floor so that they shine through
My son had some of those, they also came with a £30 fixed penalty notice from a friendly policeman
Helen lives in Norfolk,,they do not have much in the way of civilization there
wodayamean we got electric !!!!!
jib
Yes torches,,but when do you get electricity in the shacks
You can get the same blue underlit effect by running over a police car, preferably with something like a 44 ton truck........
Oww Oww thats fighting talk!!!!! Ill have you know candles provide excellent illumination.

not illegal to have switched on. they can only be an offence if the SOURCE of the light can be seen. many boy racers had these 'neons' fitted to make their car look 'cool' but fitted the front 1 in view behind thelower grille instead of out of sight behind the lower bumper/splitter area. those were the ones who got tickets! out of sight its just a blue glow under the car and cant be classed as a light then, hence no ticket
I haven't got any photos yet, but I've just had some blue LED strips fitted to the underside of my car. They look really cool.
Has anybody else considered doing it?
