Merc prefered Wheel Refurb company

I have seen it mentioned on here somewhere but can’t find it now. It seems Merc have a preferred wheel refurb company which they send alloys to.

Anybody remember what they are called ?

No, don’t think that was it. Was something more like Prima furb. Read it in a thread on here recently but can’t find it now.

Mercedes did use pristine wheels but this all stopped a couple of years ago, and they just use local firms now

Yep that is the one. It is not Merc themselves but the dealer which proposes using them.

Rimfurbish are actually part of Rimstock (if I remember correctly) they refurbish and manufacture OEM wheels for many manufacturers.

I've used Roger at thewheelrestorer.co.uk a number of times and always been extremely pleased with his work. He totally strips them back to the base metal, flats out any graunching and brings them back to as new condition.

A bit more expensive than just having the face painted, but well worth it.
