Headlight bulbs 300te

2005 S320L CDI (me). 2001 230 CLK (wife).
I'm after the above,but want something a bit brighter than the standard ones that look like two bowls of custard at night. Are they a combined main and dipped beam?. Can anyone recommend bulbs that will do the job please?. Ta.

Just looked in my Osram book and there is a H4 twin 60/55w nightbreaker plus bulb, do get the plus version, cheap on Ebay

Nightbreaker + it is then. Thanks chaps.

They will not turn the warning lamp on the higher wattage ones would do, it make all the difference in seeing what you are going to hit, and takes away the shock element ;)
