I noticed a small hole in the rear brake dust cover. I bought a kit for £30.

It was too hot to diy in the summer. Now it too cold to do it.

I decided to go to several garages including a merc dealer. all refused to do a few minutes job. They keep telling me, a brake caliper swap is the only solution they are willing to do.

How frustrating

I have to wait for the summer by that time the brake caliper will be contaminated.

one garage even told me because of insurance thing they wont touch it!

Guessing its a split rubber bit between the piston and the caliper.

Its going to be warmer at the weekend..
