ML 250 sensor issues on the back

Hi I have an ML 250 5 years old , back sensor is turning red as soon as you put into reverse
showed at MB they suggested replacing the whole system and quoted £850
any suggestions about repairing it ?

You will have a single sensor faulty, find which one it is and replace, nice and simple

WHAT ! another cxxp sensor, where DO they get them ? do let us know how you wriggle from the dealer ineptitude .i dont think i will ever bother with a benz dealer, unless i cant get what i need anywhere else.

Welcome, let us know your location and someone will give you a suggestion on the garage. Service plan question I guess depends on the age of your car and which services it’s due next/next/next if that makes sense (assuming a 3 year plan)

Then take a look at MBS - in Southampton but close enough. @Cole@MBS is a member and MBS are forum supporters. They get great feedback from those who use them (I’ll declare an interest here because they just did a B-Service on my SLK)
