I've just done the disks and pads on the rear of my w21, I noticed ever so slight cracks on the bend on the rubber hoses, is this something to be concerned about?

Being old and flexible, they will crack over time. I would have them on the near future to do list for peace of mind.

I'd be replacing them in the near future making sure to clean and lubricate the tube nut going into the flexible connection in advance to avoid a replacement of the metal pipe as well.

Will be MOT failure if spotted. I would fit stainless braided flexi brake lines. This is next on my list of jobs to do..If you fit rubber flexi lines then rub them well with silicon grease it will stop them from cracking ,and they will last longer.

You've really answered your own question.
As you're now concerned about their condition, you will not feel completely happy until they're replaced, will you?
Peace of mind is a great thing to have when driving a potential weapon.

Mercedes have got the pipes in stock, do the pipes normally come pre bent? If I take the under covers off are the pipes normally straight runs to the front, and just clip them in the existing brackets, I keep hearing things about removing the rear subframe?

The rubber hoses are rubber hoses, they bend to whatever shape you bend them to :)

The hard lines do not come pre-bent and you will need to make your own up.

Don't think the rubber hoses are going to come off without the solid pipe end shearing, I've done brake pipes before on other car but used copper instead, if the Mercedes ones are not pre bent I may aswell do them in copper, how hard are they to do on this model?

Ah I see now! You may be suprised. If not, use cunifer pipes and bent to shape. You can make a repair section if required. Some cars are much easier dropping the subframe, some you can do in situ quite easily.
