I have a 2000 cl500.
It's recently had suspension issues.
It will be fine in the morning but after a mile or so I will get a white warning message followed by a red warning and the system shuts down.
The ride becomes bouncy and the car won't lift or drop
The codes read as
c1525-64 system pressure too low
C1526-16 fault in pressure supply
I have no leaks and the ABC Reservoir is full. Does this point to a failing pump or just something a fluid flush will sort?
Not had it in rodeo mode as the system shuts down before I can get to my workshop

Failing pump. £580 for a replacement from MB is the best offer now I’d say.

Are the pumps the tandem with the power steering?
If the pumps failing wouldn't the steering go heavy too?

I’d guess the pump is weak.
Don’t go for the Eastern European rebuilds on eBay, they often don’t last long.

Get an MB rebuilt unit, same price, proper quality and a warranty.

Flush fluid and new filter.

They are tandem yes but the ABC side is under much higher pressure and consequently when it starts to fail the PS is usually still fine.

What he said, plus use Pentosin CHF.11S fluid only.
