I think i have an issue with the active park assist on my 2017 C300H.

When passing a suitable space on the passenger side I get the option to use the active park assist and it works fine.

However if the space is on the drivers side I get no option to use it.

Is this a fault or am I not doing something right?

An old B-Class.
Mike, there are several other threads on this ........a read of your user manual will reveal all. As John has said you probably need to indicate..............

You need to indicate right to make my ML W166 self park on the offside. I can park faster doing it myself. :)

Thanks for the replies.

I will RTFM and try the indicator option.

Ok, having done some testing today it seems I do need the indicator on for the drivers side.

However it is not as responsive as the passenger side nor as accurate.

fords don't allow you to park the wrong side either, its the law....
can't face on coming traffic (if limit above 30mph), you have reflectors at the back... so people notice a parked car. the other way round on faster roads you may cause a crash

on the ford the dash shows a little arrow saying no or something, caught me out first time I used it

It does allow me to use it, it's just as intuitive as the passenger side.
