Pan roof/ glass roof.

Just a quick thought, would a pan roof or a glass roof as in an SLK type, be covered under your windscreen insurance, should it need a repair. ??

Good question but wouldn’t have thought so, I think it will be bodywork as a sunroof would be....

I suppose it depends on the wording for glass other than windscreen.
Just ask them if all the glass is covered, side windows and such

I have made a claim for a side window before, that had scratches on it .
So I thought same would apply to the roof (Glass) .
You can claim under your windscreen cover and not loose any NCB.

I never like contacting insurance companies unless Absolutely necessary.

I contacted mine today, took awhile to get through the automation but the gent I spoke to (In the U S of A of all places) was most helpful. Sent me out my proof of NCB (17 years )
Probably one of the best and easiest calls I’ve had with any insurance company

Admiral have an office in Halifax, Canada. Speak to them once a year and always get a good deal.
