Hi all I'm driving a E220 19 plate when i started the car this morning theres a rattling/buzzing noise coming from the rear view mirror section where all the light controls are can anyone give me any advice on it please

Welcome, sounds like there may be a cable shorting, take it to an MB dealer it’s under warranty

Isn't there a little fan up there sampling the air temp to do with climate control? Could be that sticking..

So its a normal thing does it need going into dealer?

If it’s rattling then yes, should be a faint hum that is all

Mine is three and a half years old and can't hear it, so yes, I'd take it in if it's making a noise cause it shouldn't
