Auxiliary belt

Hi I have a 1998 w202 c180 and the ac pump bearing is very noisy its never worked so i thought I could bypass it with a shorter belt the car doesn't have leveling suspension would any members no the length of belt I would need to do this thanks

Piece of string round the path you want the belt to take, then measure?

Sometimes you get a pully on a bracket. A dummy ac unit and use the same belt
