Ever notice when Haynes were making a manual it was on a new or nearly new car? Not the 10-20 year old headaches we have:D

A bit like when Ed China 'easily removes' parts from under a car that haven't seen the light of day in 20 years .... :D

I have a pressure bleeder but doesnt have caps to suit all reservoirs. Must invest in a vacuum bleeder:D

Can a Pela pump be used to vacuum bleed brakes , with the addition of a clear tube to see the fluid of course .

Interesting Wighty as I have one in the garage. I did use it to change the brake fluid in the reservoir but never thought of using it for bleeding too. It would work in my head. I have clear pipes on mine but they are Hard plastic, just need a clear soft tube to link to bleeder? It would be fast too on an empty brake line as it has a quick draw rate. just need to try it in theory unless somebody has found failure in it?

Works in my head as well , I might have to read the Pela instructions later and let my huge intellect (. ) plan it

I take it this is a 204 or 212? We have a lot of garage come to us with this issue, the method is to bleed with a good pressure bleeder while someone pumps the pedal up and down, they refuse to bleed otherwise!!
