I am on the hunt for a new car (god it's a mine field!), and I have spotted one possibly worth investigating further, an SL350 with reg KFZ 5134, does anyone know this car please?
Many thanks.

Had a fair amount of work done to it in June to pass it's failed MOT- price looks a little high for a 98k miler IMO near 13 years old... (Jan 2008). Is it a FL model?, thinks it's on the cusp at that age.

No, not a FL model. It is hard to find a SL350 with decent service history. Thats why I am looking further into this one as it seems like they just recently had a lot of the little jobs that never get done carried out at a main dealers (£2K+ invoice)

I think it had three tyres fail at various stages on the MOT. If the owner is not replacing worn tyres on a MOT, what's he missing out on routine servicing?

Suspension components too....I’m surprised finding one with a decent history is difficult? Anyway as I said on your original post if you give us some parameters we can maybe narrow one down for you ?

Im quite flexible really, I would prefer it not to be silver, but can live with silver. Looking at a max of 'about' £8K. Would prefer a 3.5 engine, but after the ones with issues. The main issue is I am in the grim north, and they mostly seem to be far down south, so popping to view a couple every weekend isnt really an option

Great...how 'North' are you? I hear what you're saying on the travelling to view currently!

In Durham, so quite north.
Yes, trying to avoid the ABC. If I wasnt so wary of it, I would get a 500.

Seems values have changed since I last looked at these. I take it back, that's not badly priced in fact and looks decent 'on paper', and as you say above there has been serious money spent on it (reflective of the advisories etc on last MOT)..although it is Silver

Yes, that is ideal....but I need to P/X.
Sorry I seem to be rejecting everything, guess I should have put that in my needs section earlier.
Not a problem!
On the PX, you might have already thought about this but WBAC are giving (and actually sticking to) decent prices nowadays. There is an upsurge in demand for used cars due to the social distancing advice on public transport, and it's driving values up (probably why I'm out of touch a little on the value on the original car you headlined on this thread)
