I had a similar issue with my W205 a few years back. During the 'B' service, the L/H passenger kick panel is removed to change the cabin filter this necessitates unplugging the ambient lighting cable. On this occasion, it was not reconnected.

Seem to remember I had the same issue with my W204, so I took it to an=n indie who drained the ATF (partial change) and then a month later changed the ATF again. Not very satisfactory but better than nothing.

Aye, although all Mercedes wheel bolts are now M14 x 1.5 pitch; my C Class was W205 & W204 were 130NM but the S213 is 150NM with the same size bolt.

You could get it carbon fibre wrapped...,.That will protect it for life.

This is the correct connection for a trickle charger on my S213. Look for the red sliding cover and this is where you connect the positive (red) cable and the brass nut (earth) this is where you connect the negative (black) cable. Hope this helps.
