Just an update, Fitted new timing chain and tensioner, radiator and awaiting new front grill and drivers seat. Car repainted, new windscreen and minor welding on panel near jacking points. Back on the road once lockdown is lifted. Happy Days.

Hi All Not sure if this was discussed before but I'm looking for a remote locking device for my W124 230 car, presently have to lock the car with key. Does this exist? Thanks in anticipation. Regards DanielJ

Good maintenance - 180,000 miles and the tensioner worn. No excessive rattle.

This needs replacing, has this been covered before?
