charging clk w209 through rear light wiring?

Dear all. My w209 has been standing for about 4 weeks as I have had an opt. Went to star her up to find battery totally dead (definitely that has clock stopped) and doors won't open. Valet key will open boot but not drivers door. This is a 53 plate so battery is in engine bay, up by nearside...
