low-speed

I have a strange sound coming from my E220 Estate (2005). When I set off there is a rythmic rubbing (almost thumping sound). It increases in line with the speed then disappears when I reach about 30mph. It is the same regardless of whether the car is cold or warmed up. Appreciate anyones...
