stop light issues

Hi all. I have had a bulb-out warning light illuminate and having investigated and found no filament problem with the bulb I put it back in and low and behold it flashed up again. I then put a brand new bulb into the holder and inserted it and all was well UNTIL I applied the foot-brake pedal...
