It's been a month since I picked up my first MB. And it has gone well, the car dives really well and is so smooth.
For those that know, my drivers seat has been difficult for me to adjust to, but it has softened up somewhat.
Power wise, it is impressive for a diesel, and sometimes it doesn't sound too bad. At some point I will make a trip and get the ECU mapped, even though it moves really well, it does seem to run out of drive over 60mph (never thought I would say that about a 350CDI.) If I didn't get it done it wouldn't be the end of the world, but I think I'm a fan of accelerating, I'm just getting used to the power quickly.
The main things I'm planning are basic, tracking, wheels and paint chips. Not forgetting the paint work for the roof at the MB dealer.
Here's to the next 12 months.

Try with the seat adjustment to move the front of the seat base up and the back of the seat base down , this will support the weight of your thighs and stop them pulling your pelvis and spine forward , its an old people lower back problem thing , but still may help with comfort ?

I've not really got a back problem, more that the side seat back bolsters are too narrow for me.

Good to hear the side bolsters are softening up a bit sounds like something had to give and fortunately it’s the seat another couple of months and it will fit like a glove

I dont know , but your car is 5 years old now .
The chap before me was about 6'2" and skinny, he probably never felt the side supports!!
