Hi all,

Anyone know where I could get a 16" steel wheel as a spare for my 1994 C Class? Would prefer an original mercedes one. Just realised I needed a spare after reading Chazchuzzlewitt's post and photos on the wheels he bought! Still only got a 15" spare in the boot (upgraded to new 16" alloys earlier in the summer!!)

You shouldn't need one.
The overall rolling diameter is the same, whether you have 15'' or 16'' wheels. The difference is taken up by the tyre sidewall.
Take the spare out and compare it to the 16'' wheels. You should find that it stands the same height.

Generally the smaller the rim diameter the larger the aspect ratio figure. Which is why smaller rims are more comfortable, the larger tyre sidewall acts with the cars suspension.
