1985 CLIMATE CONTROL - PROBLEM WITH AIR ON 190D 2.2

Just purchased 1985 190d 2.2. No major problems, other than the air conditioning.  It turns on, cycles for five seconds and shuts off.  Coolant is full, even bypassed coolant to see if that was the problem. Any known problems with this?  Or, what do you suggest?

Hi,

The first thing you need to know, is what the pressures are reading in the system. If the pressure's are too high then this could be the reason why it keeps shutting the compressor off too quickly. Maybe a blockage in the system.

Really its down to your local AC specialists unlest your nearby then me!
