Well I was pleasantly surprised. I thought it would just have the seats, centre arm rests, head rests, and side armrest pads in leather.
Looks like the seat backs are also leather, and all the sides of the seats, headrest, all armrest bits , front door cards and the whole centre console is leather .
In fact the only leatherette seems to be the bulkhead, dashboard and rear side panels. And to be honest I am waivering on the rear side panels.
Its almost like 3/4 exclusive leather ... without the Nappa quality. Massive improvement on the 2005 SL 500.
I previously sat in a 2007 CL500 and that looked like the seats and all armrests were leather, and all the rest was leatherette.
But wow leather care on ventilated seats is a difficult job, moisturing it , without filling the little holes is a mare. Give me normal unpunctured Nappa anyday!
