(A208) clk 2001 roof not working

I have a 2001 Mercedes clk convertible, the roof was working fine going up and down with not problem untill I was washing the roof and then it suddenly stopped, I have replaced the pump and checked all the fuses, I have also checked the micro switch on the side and doesn’t seem to be a problem there although there was a small amount of water around it, the rear headrests have also stopped working but only a day after the roof as they have been going up and down every now and again and have now stopped all together, I know they could be linked but not sure where to look next, any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks
there is also no sound of the pump working when the switch is pressed and the windows all still go down when I in hook the roof latch at the front, the roof switch isn’t flashing either as it does when it’s not happy with the position of somthing
