Depending how you want to handle it then it will depend on the fix (and cost).
If you go to a dealer it will be new bumper and a spray job.

If you go to a specialist then it would appear that may be plastic welded and resprayed.

If the badge is damaged I'd really be having it properly inspected, bumpers do deform and bounce back a huge amount you could have damage to the intercooler or other cooling related parts

Many years ago, driving a Ford Focus, I hit a Badger 'at speed'. Fortunately, I was only a few miles from home and, as the steering and brakes felt normal, I didn't stop. I did however, get a grating noise under braking.

At home, the front of the car looked normal, except for an obvious leak from the Air Con. Viewing it the next day, the radiator was bent like a banana as was the front cross member.

I'd dread to think what the total cost to my Insurer might have been, but it was probably in the region of 2K. All it cost me (with protected claims) was the £50 excess.

Yes. I know the arguments about 'upped' premiums and lower future discounts.;)

Update, I've been quoted just over £700 so not as bad as a I thought and this is from an approved Mercedes repair shop. Thanks for all your comments guys.

Is that just for a bumper, did they inspect behind the damage toseeif there was anything else wrong?

...... and this is from an approved Mercedes repair shop. .....

Is an 'approved Mercedes repair shop' better than elsewhere? My car was repaired by Mercedes (after they damaged it) ... presumably by an approved Mercedes repair shop .... and the original repair was appalling, the subsequent repair was better but not what I'd consider good. (I removed the over spray myself)
