Had my vehicle on a STAR diag today for something unrelated to the following. The following code was Stored:

2632-008 Check System 'Charge pressure control'. Charge pressure is too high.

Is this something to be concerned about? My vehicle is driving perfectly and have had no noticeable issues

2002 SL500, 216 CL500, all fully loaded
If driving OK I would not worry at all and just leave it.

I wouldn't think anything to worry about but worth maybe running some additives through the system to clean things up, Charge pressure high used to indicate the turbo veins sticking slightly

I've used ones from forte in the past and seem to have good results with the engine feeling a little free'er after using it for a tank or two full

yep that will work or the advanced diesel treatment, either should assist in cleaning things a little.

BTW if you have a large capacity fuel tank then throw a full bottle in and fill it to the brim, OK its slightly over what they recommend but it won't do any harm
