Advice please

On my 2003 C180K Evolution coupe the rims are now getting tatty and a decent refurb is as much as a new non merc set
Tyres are 225 45 17 on 17 rim all round but some suppliers say the rims on the front 7.5's are a different size to the back 8's.
If I take the tyres off how do I find whether they are 7.5's or 8's on each

Hi ,
If you take the wheel off , the wheels size is stamped into the metal on the inside of the wheel .

Remove wheel. Wheel diameter, width, offset, will be stamped/cast somewhere, usually on the back of the spokes.

To have your wheels powder coated would not cost much more than £250 and better than an unknown set
