"B" service Sat nav - update?

Hi,

Looking at the "B" service carried out at MB they state "read map data status out of navigation system, check update,"

Does that mean they should update as part of this service? because they have quoted over £120 in the past to do this!!

No just means they’ll check it then charge you to update if you agree...

Navi update is optional after the warranty period and no doubt would be charged for, I believe the update is free for the first 3 years from new (most people have to ask for it to be done). If you are paying £120 to get this done jump at it that’s a bargain
