Can anyone offer advice, the black Artico on my drivers seat is quite shiny, is there any way I can get it back to a more matt sheen so it matches the rest of the rarely used seats?
thanks in advance Peter

It probably will crack and fall apart.

Wet wipes. Be amazed how much muck will come off.
I had to replace the passenger seat base cover on my C207 because it cracked. Driver seat had already been done.
No getting away from the fact that it will happen at some point.
Cost me about £250 for the cover and I replaced it myself. Pretty straightforward job.

Thanks Trev, dunno if I fancy replacing seat covers myself what with the heated seats.
Re wet wipes I have used Dr Leather wipes in the past but doesn’t last long although they smell quite nice

Artico is not leather, not even vegan leather whatever that is. It’s plastic and will deteriorate over time. Leather wipes smell nice, but as stated above I would just use baby wet wipes to clean seats.

I am by profession a retired master saddler so I know difference between leather and vinyl (which is what Artico is) and I also know that there isn’t a product that would be adsorbed into petrochemical product such as vinyl, I was really only wondering if anyone knew of any products that might take the shine of and leave a sheen, it appears baby wipes are ok and cheaper than Dr Leather so many thanks for the advice

I watched a YouTube video of it being done first. Took me an hour start to finish. Mine had heated seats and it didn't make the job any harder. Pretty easy job.
