The tailgate doesn't open remotely. It unlocks and then stops. Any ideas? It closes fine by pressing the button on the inside of the tailgate.

Hi and welcome. Closing is easier on the actuators as the weight of the tailgate helps it fall. It sounds like you have a faulty actuator…

Quite a lot suffer from corrosion in the hinge. Lots of lube required

Thanks guys, most helpful. Any idea how much an actuator is and can it be fitted easily?
