Buying a Slk 230, what to look for?

Hi, i am going to Germany 25 july to buy and import a 1997, Slk 230 Kompressor, 5-speed, with 90000km`s, i have never owned a Mercedes before, and have never driven a slk, is there anything i have to look for before buying this car.

Hi Heinz

one of the threads was about the roof mechanism. Check that it opnes / closes in one smooth motion - no mechanical pause halfway.

Ok, so roof could be a problem, but what about engine, Kompressor, gearbox? anything to look for, or is there no known problems?
