I'm going to look at a C180 Sport tomorrow and have a couple of questions

UK R Reg 1998
36k miles

does this model use the assyst service interval?

what is the normal service interval (usually 12k or 1 year)?

is £9k a fair price? (private sale)

anything i should be on the look out for when i inspect tomorrow?

Yep

About 10,000 miles or 2 years - which ever's sooner

I'd say a couple of grand over priced but with the low mileage the condition should match.
for that price it would need to be a Auto and have Air Con.
98 R reg was when a face-lift was introduced so for that price it would defiantly need to be the later face-lift model.
Also Full Service History too.

If its a Auto make sure it changes nice & smooth and If it has Air Con make sure its working as these 2 things can be costly to fix.
At that price with low mileage the car should be as new with FSH.
