C220cdi Recall (faulty battery) Update: C180 also
Some C220cdi's are being recalled due to possible problems with battery.
This in some cases may cause the battery to short and cause a fire in the engine bay.
As yet, I am not sure to as the exact batch of batteries, but MB have sent out some letters to owners.
If you have any concerns, you can phone MB, stating your chassis no.
So far I know of the some 2003 cars being affected. If you have your car from new, MB should be writing to you, if youreside at your original address.
