Cleaned it today, whether was just right :)

sprayed Auto Glym wheel cleaner
Rinsed off loose dirt
Washed with Auto Glym shampoo (2 bucket method)
Rinsed off with water
Dried car and wheels off with micro fibre cloths
sprayed demon shine on body work and alloys, buffed off
Meguiars endurance tyre gel on tyres
Auto Glym Fast glass on windows, panoramic roof and lights

Took around 2.5 hrs not rushing, tomorrow it's the inside its pretty clean but just a freshen up.

Want to get the wheels off and do the inside part when I paint the calipers on a hot sunny day

Looking good mate. Always fancied doing the inside of my alloys. Would certainly bring back the new look to them. Just a bit reluctant as its a fair bit of work for them to get rotten in a matter of a couple of weeks...

Forgot to mention Applied a coat of Auto Glym super resin polish to the alloys as well as demon shine, I find it makes it easier to clean next time as brake dust sits on the polish on directly on the wheel, planing to do the same on the inside.

Looked into a wheel sealent but many member on detailing world use the same polish or wax as they use on their paint work. It is quite a bit of effort but as there coming off to do the calipers I thought while the calipers dry I can get the wheels done

looking good, i took my wheels off last year to do the inside tar removal, they need to come off again for the same reason plus having new tyres fitted need to remove whats left of the wheel weight backing that tyre fitters leave behind, (i am sure if they wiped that off most customers would be a lot happier).
