Just thought I’d point out that amazon have a deal on 5L of castrol edge 5w30 M so meets 229.31/51/52 for anyone who may want it.

I just grabbed a couple of tubs for mine for it’s service next week. (Didn’t realise the spec for Mercs was the same as the Mobil1 ESP I already had)

I’ve always bought my own stuff and generally stick with Gulf and Valvoline never looking at price but, don’t have the time to look into the oil for the S350 in the usual depth I do so just grabbed a premium brand that meets spec before I forgot ahead of Monday. Punched it into amazon and this came up up being on a limited time deal, meeting all tbe usual specs so thought I’d share in case there’s die hard fans of this stuff.

Wow. £44 for 5 ltrs is a bit much!
Check out MB Newcastle next time you need oil. It's the same stuff they put in if you service it at the main dealers and they deliver next day.

I pay less than that for Petronas 5000av at Halfords! That's not only MB228.52 but VW 504/507 as well.
