cheap tyres

I've been searching for some new tyres for my E320 (continental sport contact 2, 245/45/17/WR). I got the cheapest quote from tyrefit direct online - £121, £40 cheaper than kwik fit and much much cheaper than the dealer. That's £80 saving for 2 tyres!! Does anyone know of anywhere cheaper.

sear google and type tyre fitting at home and you will have a company near the top of the page that does them cheaper, i thin - call black-something

I went to the local auto scrap yard. I got 4 tyres that were almost new [ they still had blue dye in the treads]. Paid 100$ U.S. They get so many tyres they let them go cheap.

I have a local place I use. They are generally 2/3 to 1/2 the price of qwikifit. Its a known commodity so its a ring round job. I got a good deal on mine but they are a different size and I bought 4, so comparison is pointless. Costco come well recommended though. Weren't too far off what I paid.

But I have bought tyres from this guy for years, for my own car, my wifes car
and even for a 1972 Citroen DS, I owned until recently and never found ANYONE
to beat his prices.

Try www.mytyres.co.uk. They post the tyre(s) out to you and then you can get it fitted wherever you want! www.blackcircles.co.uk is another which offers the same idea, but also provides you with a cost for fitting at an apporved local dealer.
