Well folks I did a wee run to Kinlochleven last night which is a 200 mile run, and started hearing a wee blow from the back box of the exhaust.

So being skint I went for a quote for a cheap pattern back box.

So now guess how much the cheapest quote was!

So where did you go the last time your exhaust blew?

And how much did it cost you?

Still on the original centre section and back box, but had a new front pipe and cat a couple of years ago, £375 total fitted with 3yr guarantee from Cooper Bros. Newmains.
What's wrong wasn't that the right part.

Still, if it does the job who cares as long as the price is right!

My silencer box was £120 fitted.

That's reasonable, sometimes it's not a simple job working with old systems and somebody has to pay the fitter's wages.
