You already have one, it is your aircon, just you keep turning it off! :D
Agree that air con is one but I am waiting for cushion look like so I can lay them on carpets and get the water and damp dry out :) (hope it will do that as lots of people say)

Hi,
I have just read through this thread from the start, and have a couple points,
You mentioned early in thread that the A/C needed charging, I take it you have had it recharged now and it is "fully" gassed up.
There was a mention of clicking from the heater, is this fixed or still present?
Frost in the boot was mentioned, and is certainly not normal.
Have you tried running temporarily without a pollen filter, see if this makes any difference,

hi guys

i had little time today during day time so i went arround car to check door seals form A to Z

i checked every single inch of rubber seal and found this

all doors got this.i can pull it out easy, this white stuff looks like old glue or something, in some places rubber is glued but mostly loose.however water was stuck there.
img00213201301261631.jpg

same scenario here but on picture rear left door
img00214201301261631.jpg

here is rear right door, in most places i can pull out seal as on picture.i doubt it has to be like that but i need your opinions.
img00215201301261632.jpg

front driver door, 50% of whole seal is like that.
img00216201301261633.jpg

what do you think guys? i belive it's the reason of condensation and damp carpets but i need your experience here as i never had such issue in former cars. before you going to shout on me"i told you that 40 posts ago :p" tell me please what is best way to get it sorted? replace seals or just glue them as should be. overall seals condition is in good order.
if glue b...... then what one? can u recommend any?

thanks !

So, when you are driving round, with air con on, the car is still steaming up?

No with air con is not. That is why I run air con all the time. If u read previous posts you will find why I need yours help. What makes me wonder is why I get condensation inside.I work out on it, so far with other members help I managed to check and fix few things but condensation still exist.

My last cars...

2010 e350
2006 e320
2006 335i
2005 535d

All the above would steam up like mad when the air con was turned off in damp conditions.

I really don't see the problem.

Humidity has been at over 90% for the last few weeks, I would expect it to steam up.
I have had to buy a humidifier for my shop a month back as my shop windows were completely steaming up.

I don't think you have an issue.

I would hate to think that you are looking for something that is not there, because you might start to dislike the car for no real reason.
And they are great cars.

This may sound like an odd idea, but try washing the inside of the windows with hot soapy water, preferably with a course cloth, rinsing them thoroughly, then drying them, this should remove the film which builds up on the windows after years of having A/C on, A/c off, hot weather, cold weather, wet weather, dry weather, dog breath etc etc, Although I agree with most of the people on this one, that these cars are probably designed to run with A/C on all the time, I, like you, do not like to have A/C on permanently and have overcome the same problem you have, by giving the windows a good old clean,

Good Luck;)

Looks like it could be. But hard to see where that is.
The few hours of sun light has dried mine out for now.
Perhaps yours is as well.

Yeah is dry now I belive

This seal should stop rain or car wash water getting into engine bay. Shouldn't?just wonder if glue it would be OK ?

try it. Cant harm anything. But rubber is hard to glue effectively. Especially if it gets wet.
Someone may no of a good method, besides halfords tyre cement.

There is an open grille above that area, on your bonnet, so water will get in there anyway.
There is a drain plug in the filter holder to move water away as well.
