Diff service advice?

I should be getting a diff from a salvage yard tomorrow to go in my 1984 500sec. I intend to service it before i fit it, and I would like some advice on what to do. What kind of fluid will I need to buy and is there anything else I should do before fitting it to my car. Thanks in advance.

I would probably replace the diff breather and oil seals whilst your at it.

85w90 Hypoid Gear Oil if it is the same as my 190E.
