DPF or Catalytic first?

Hi.

On my 2012 W212 2.1 0651 engine, does anyone know if the dpf comes first going down the exhaust or the catalytic converter. On eBay they seem to come together and I want to make sure I'm spraying the DPF cleaner into the correct part.
Is it the smaller or larger of these 2 sections?

Diesel Oxidation Cat first then DPF.

If ever in doubt look for the two metal pipes that go the DPF pressure sensor, the DPF is between the two.

That's what I did in the end. DPF foam cleaner squirted in the bigger pipe and it's reduced the fill level a lot.

It depends what's causing the excess soot. If I put sports mode on, drive it like I stole it, the DPF just fills even quicker
