Helo new to this forum, as I have just purchased our old Company pool car E200 1994.
The ECU was dignosed as being pretty poorly and I have sent it away for repairs www.the-ecu-doctor.co.uk ....Cost me £218 all in with 1 year warranty thrown in.
I fiited repaired ECU back and although car running smoother, it is still not 100% (as if having a frog in her throat). My garage had previously changed the coil pack prior to me sending ECU for repairs....Any advise on what could be the problem? Many thanks.

How many miles have you driven the car since the ECU was repaired? And what type of road work do you do mainly, ie about town or motorway?

Have driven nothing since ECU was repaired and replaced last night as engine does not sound correct. It used to purrrrrr nicely, now it has a sore throat. Most of driving was mostly done on motorways.

Take it for a drive first and I mean a good drive, then see how it responds. Computers need to run through a re-learn procedure and therefore the test drive is an integral part. If its still not working ok after this, then its back to the drawing board.
