Hi everybody,

Have a 94 E420. When pressing the accelerator, it vibrates ( I feel it in the steering). It smoothes itself out after a while.

Ist it related to the injectors?

Would anybody suggest anything please. It really annoys me.

Thanks in advance.

It could well be the engine mounts.

When you say it smooths itself out after a while, is that when you are traveling at a constant speed? or do you go through a zone like Chuck Jagear?

Anyway, have the wheels rebalanced before we go any further.

Actually, the vibration starts when the car starts moving at low speed, around 30 km/hr. As the speed increases, it sommths itself out.
Thats why I did not think of the wheels as they would cause problems at high speeds. Am I right? I am not good when it comes to cars!

Thank you turnipsock!

This is a common problem on various models, with the same symptoms as you describe. The steering damper!
