OK- I know this is a Mercedes Forum but some of you surely have other marques at home, or like them, or know someone who does...
Its my innovation and we have partnered with leading classic car insurer ClassicLine. Please read on and share

We’re excited to introduce Festival of the Dead, the new classic car event for 2023!
Bringing together as many popular, rare or unusual car marques as possible that are no longer manufactured, Festival of the Dead is set to be a unique celebration of motoring history, and it would be great to see members of the MBOC at the show!

We understand that your car club caters for a marque that is still manufacturing, but if you are happy to still share the event with your friends, it would be greatly appreciated. We know that many car enthusiasts have other marques in their collections or hidden away in garages, so it would be great to see as many of you as possible at the show!

Festival of the Dead – The Car Show!
Presented by car care advisors, MoreThanPolish.com, and ClassicLine Insurance, Festival of the Dead is a gathering of timeless classic vehicles celebrating marques that are no longer with us. Whether you have a well known or rare classic British made car, an American or overseas marque, or a custom or special, if the maker of your car has ceased production, this is THE show for you.

The show will be bringing together an amazing selection of vintage and classic cars, retro and everyday drivers, and custom and exotic cars to celebrate the marques that are no longer in manufacture. Plus, with a variety of auto traders, catering options, awards, live demos, and discounted entry to the House and Gardens, it is set to be a great day out for everyone.

Show Highlights

Practical Classics Workshop

The Practical Classics team will be hosting an interactive area at the show! They’ll be bringing projects from their nearby workshop – dead marques of course! – providing demonstrations and answering your restoration questions.

Discounted entry to the House and Gardens
All Festival of the Dead participants will be able to enjoy half-priced entry to the House and Gardens. Present your show entry ticket at the Venue reception to redeem this offer.

A tasty selection of local food and drinks
The House also has a great restaurant for sit-down meals or take a stroll along to the Café where you’ll find a tasty selection of refreshments and light lunches. There’ll also be a refreshments stall on the main show field, and if it is a hot day (which of course we hope it will be!), the delicious ice cream parlour will be open too.

Supporting Mission Motorsport
All profits from this fantastic day will be donated to Mission Motorsport.
