What's with the "Frustrated of Dover" about? Or is it that you have found out that those 350's can have the dreaded, (and expensive) Balance Shaft issues...???

I don't think I have balance shaft issues, I put a neodym magnet on the outside of the sump plug before I changed the oil and it came out without any swarf on. Have subsequently removed the sump simply to check and no bits of metal whatsoever.
Frustrated was how I felt at the time with the plague issues as both the wife and myself are categorised as vulnerable.
My youngest son has very recently bought a 220cdi estate at auction for a song, thought it might be "bridge over troubled water" but it's amazing what tightening up the battery clamps can achieve, gone from a zillion alarms to none in about 10 seconds.
