My car is due it's 4 yearly Gearbox service. 7gTronic

My indy charge £350

Mercedes Exeter £775

"Value" B Service at Mercedes £563, Indy £350

Additional items:

Brake fluid £183
Fuel Filter £129
Air filters £150

So a total of £1800 at Mercedes

Think I will stick with my Indy

My local MB is no better, I cannot understand why people would pay their prices.
They recalled my E55 earlier this year, sunroof again, and the promise of a software update (pah!!) and health check thrown in. We will also send you a video of the underside, ah me thinks, whilst it is on the ramp what would it cost for an oil and filter change. The price started with four hundred, I switched off at that so didn’t get the and “x” amount.

Early this year I took out a 4 year service contract with Mercedes for £2100 that does all of that (including all fluids and parts etc) and includes 4 MOTs. Inflation proof to boot.
For other work I use an indy though.

With Exeter MB? That is not a bad price

I took out the MBUK deal. It was about £200 cheaper than the MB South West but didn't include free pick up and a few other things but I wanted the freedom to service outside Devon.

I took out a 3 year service and 3 mots plan. £44 monthly . I've already had the first service which included gearbox and transfer box oil changes.

7g up here at an indy is around £280

With Exeter MB? That is not a bad price

My last 3 year service E class contract with MB which ended in May was £1,100. It was two B & one A service & a auto box oil change. Great value for me, taken out at the start of Covid.
They are now asking about £1,600 for a 3 year contract, I dont think so.
