Help needed with correct bonnet latch

Hi i have a s203 c270 and have a sport grill on it its matte black with a big Merc sign in the grill then too the top right is a gap where a latch fits to open the bonnet i ordered one which is the correct one for the vehicle however it does not fit the grill can anyone tell me what latch or lever i need please this is similar to my grill.
