Thats the 4X4 haters I refer to.
'Owners of 4x4 vehicles are being sought to help transport food and medicine to vulnerable people in Brighton while the icy conditions continue.
Brighton and Hove City Council said it needed drivers to help deliver items to hard-to-reach areas.'
Got this email from a councillor on my local council at the weekend too.
'further to my e-mail below, I have this morning been in touch with the Resource Centre (number below), and what they desperately need is:-
ANYONE WITH A 4 X 4 VEHICLE, TO HELP WITH TRANSPORTING VULNERABLE RESIDENTS AND ALSO DELIVERING - PLEASE RING THE RESOURCE CENTRE DIRECT IF YOU HAVE A 4 X 4, AND CAN SPARE AN HOUR OR TWO !!

Now this Lib councillor belongs to a party who have persistently called for even higher road tax on all 4X4's. Think I'll drop their leader a line......
