And before anybody says "I know", I mean with my car.

When I go over a bumpy road surface, of which there are many in Norwich, I get a squeeking noise from the front offside wheel area. Also, when I go round a right hand corner, especially so on a roundabout, it feels as though the front offside wheel is wobbling. I had the front wheels balanced yesterday and this one was out by about 60g. If anybody has been following the saga of my Brabus wheels they will remember the problems I had with vibration being caused by the front tyres. I was wondering if this severe vibration could have damaged something on the suspension/steering side of things? :?

Any thoughts/ideas would be more than welcome as I know that you guys are a font of wisdom and knowledge.

There is not so much that can squeek.

The roll bar bushes or the front swivels joints, this would not be the result of the wheels, more like all of the rain that we have had

I knew you'd come through in the end.

It's going into Robinsons Mercedes tomorrow. Do you think it will be expensive?

Not sure about the Brabus wheels, but I know the CL500 with 19" wheels suffer from the wheels developing a flat spot on them. After the wheel gets pot-holed a number of times they go out of shape, causing wheel wobble...
Even with the wheel balanced it still wobbles. It might be worth having the wheel checked.
The most probable cause for a squeak is bottom balljoints. They don't have to be worn to squeak. If the grease has dried inside or water has got inside then they will squeak.
Best to investigate straight away and change if this is the cause as damage to front wings will occur if the balljoint collapses and can be expensive...

Thanks for your info 47p2. I have actually got the original wheels on ATM just to make sure there's nothing wrong with the car before the Brabus ones go on. The problem with the tyres I had was caused by damaged ones being fitted and flat spotting, probably by collision damage. :(

If you go as your normal self they will think That you are worth $1 million

You could also follow this thread as it is the same suspension as yours

Thanks Malcolm. I'm quite lucky as I've built up a good relationship with my dealer and we're on first name terms and with a discount from usual prices because I'm so cheeky. As for you, you're a great person to know and quite sweet (a bit of a charmer too by the sounds of it)

In the flesh,I would not say a word, its just that I have a soft spot for Norwich as I almost moved there. I do like the place and the last time I visited it was in a friends heliclopter 4 years ago. We had some buisness to do with one of the property agents in the new red brick shopping center.

So why didn't you move here? Not that where you live isn't nice that is.

There's nothing wrong with my car at all, it's all in my imagination. Mind you they did say that the anti-roll bar bushes were a bit loose, but nothing to worry about.

I don't know, maybe I am going round the twist.
