If the alarm sounds weak, the batteries are expiring, this will not stop the car, but it can set the alarm off at anytime when locked.

That's what I figured ( hence why I failed to mention it ) So why does the flipping car keep stopping ?!?

A few thing to check, is the fuel in the tank and is it transferring ring across to each side of the saddle tank, the fuel pump relay isn't faulty, check the fuel pump wire as it comes out of the rear Sam.
