There are a lot of threads on here relating to buying an R129. Maintenance and servicing seems to be one of the main things to check. Make sure that everything works and check them out twice for good measure.
They can suffer from rust on the front wings.
They should come with a hard top and wind deflector as that is how they where sold.
People seem to have their own preference of which model to own, early or later, 280, 320 or 500.
Nice cars to drive though.
